There's Always A Reason

As a frustrated writer, I have lots to write about and yet it sometimes seems like the hardest thing in the world to do. So today I make a vow that even if I have nothing thought provoking and extremely interesting to write (isn't that always the aim?), I'll at least write 5 reasons to be thankful. It'll get me writing and it'll force me to look at the positives of life. Let's get started shall we:

1. My productivity at work rocked and is reflected in the increased billable hours I had for the week.
2. I went into the grocery store and bought whatever I wanted (in this economy there are many without that ordinary luxury).
3. I felt beautiful today, truly beautiful inside and out.
4. The organization I want to volunteer with wrote me back and told me that withdrawing from the process last year had not hurt my chances of becoming a mentor.
5. I realized the benefits of standards (more on that later)!!!!!!!

Those are actually only a few reasons I could be happy and thankful today. What were some of yours?
